课程简介（中文）:人工智能正在全球范围迅速崛起，其应用极为广泛，是目前科学研究的前沿和热点。掌握人工智能的数学基础是学习人工智能技术的一个重要内容。本课程主要介绍人工智能中的数学基础知识和几个对应的应用实例，内容包含以下四个部分：线性代数与矩阵论、微积分与数值优化、概率统计与随机过程、信息论。
课程简介（英文）：Artificial intelligence is rapidly rising around the world, and its application is extremely wide, and it is the frontier and hot spot of current scientific research. Mastering the mathematical foundation of artificial intelligence is an important part of learning artificial intelligence technology. This course mainly introduces the basic knowledge of mathematics in artificial intelligence and several corresponding application examples. The content includes the following four parts: linear algebra and matrix theory, calculus and numerical optimization, probability statistics and stochastic process, and information theory.
教学目标与要求:通过本课程的学习，使学生理解并掌握人工智能领域所涉及的核心数学基础知识，为进一步学习和应用人工智能技术打好基础；通过案例学习和编程实践，增强学生应用数学知识解决实际问题的能力；通过英文文献的阅读和讨论，增强学生的文献阅读能力和独立思考能力。
